As the Wizards kick off the season against Toronto FC, show The Reds that their fans aren't the only loud ones in MLS. The Wizards will support Build the Cauldron activities and encourage the entire stadium to be loud and supportive on opening night. Fans will be entertained at halftime by the legendary Marching Cobras, a well-known marching band from Kansas City. Gate A will open at 5:30 p.m. for Season Ticket Holders to access a special merchandise sale.

The Wizards will also recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month with the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA).
Mini horses will be on hand for children to ride, and inflatables will be set up on the concourse inside the stadium. Bring your favorite four-legged friend out for Kansas City's second-ever Dog's Night at the Wizards as Chivas USA comes to town. Paw Prints Magazine and the Wizards have teamed up to create a dog-friendly atmosphere at CAB. Dogs and their owners will sit in a special section on the grass berm, and a Frisbee Dog group will perform at halftime. Dance teams will take part in a dance contest while the Starting 11 Girls host a clinic for young dancers who want to learn from the pros. Women of all ages are invited to come out, as ticket packages include food and beverages as well as a pink soccer ball. A portion of the proceeds for each package sold will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure- Greater Kansas City Affiliate. The Girl Scouts will also come out for a fun-filled night of activities followed by a sleepover on the field, which will end at 8:00am the next morning. They will each receive a commemorative patch for attending.

The Wizards and ownership group OnGoal will thank fans for their support during 2009 as the team closes out the regular season with the second home contest against D.C. United. After the match, fans will be encouraged to stay for a final fireworks display and autograph session as the players show their gratitude to the fans.
