14 year old Amber Hernandez Guitierrez of Chivas USA’s Porterville Academy was recently called up to play for the Mexican Women’s U17 National team. She will be with the team as they go through CONCACAF preliminaries for the next Women’s World Cup. The Mexican Women’s U17 tema will take on teams such as the US, Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Puerto Rico and Jamaica. Teams will qualify for a chance to play in the 2008 Womens U17 World Cup in New Zealand. more » |
