My autobiography would be called // "How to live La Vida Loca without even trying"
Highlight of 2008 TFC Season // Home opener when we all sang "Oh' Canada" - the stadium painted with red scarves, and one voice singing the anthem can't match that…and of course beating Chicago on our last home game.
About Me // I'm a passionate football fan, played goalkeeper in Mexico and still manage to have some fun when we have some staff games at BMO. I drink triple espressos all day long - anyone leaving BMO Field for any reason during business hours knows they better come back with a coffee!

My autobiography would be called // "You did what?"
Highlight of 2008 TFC Season // The inclusion of the TFC Academy program and start of a Canadian championship with a place in the CONCACAF Champions League. Two things that I hope will have a marked effect on the game in Canada.
About Me // Since this is year three, I decided to include three little known facts about me - I have a degree in urban design, I lived in Asia for three years before moving to Washington, DC and in the mid-80s I opened for one of the biggest rap stars of all time at the Masonic Temple (the Concert Hall) in Toronto.

Shoe size // Maybe if you were in a band...
My autobiography would be called // "The Chronicles of Kwoo"
Highlight of 2008 TFC Season // The roadtrip to Columbus on March 29, 2008. Nothing beats being packed on a bus with your closest friends and the excitement of seeing the team you adore. The sea of red overwhelming duty free was hilarious.
About Me // The creative one. One of the original front office Starting XI. Terrible soccer player, but somehow manage to market it. The type who takes pleasure in the little things, which include, but are not limited to - a large regular with milk from Tim Hortons, New Music Tuesdays on iTunes, long sweaty Sunday runs, movie quote with Dave Barker, listening to Luke try and pronounce 'aluminum', a new issue of The Economist and excuses to use art supplies. Forza TFC!

About Me // Proud to be a member of the Silver Medal winning team at the 2009 Canadian National Synchronized Skating Championships!!! Love being outdoors in all of Canada's crazy weather, including the snow (you can't ski without it!!) Favourite accessory items are scarves - been known to wear them every day of the week, even in the summer! Can't wait for next season and TFC making the playoffs in '09!

Shoe size // 10.5
My autobiography would be called // "Don't ask me to drink green tea"
Highlights of 2008 TFC Season // The atmosphere at the first home game of the season. Rohan's goals against Colorado. Watching J.C. trying to skate. Paul Winsper losing his canoe in Collingwood.
About Me // The only bad thing about working here is having to sit next to Pat every day. In 2009 I will try to improve my foosball and soccer tennis performances after a dismal display in 2008. Since moving to Canada two years ago I've become a big Raptors fan but my number 1 sports team (apart from TFC) is Sheffield United.

About Me // An original member of the Toronto FC staff, I'm looking forward to season 3 with TFC making our first trip to the post season, and sweeping our season series with the L.A. Galaxy once again! I enjoy watching Entourage (ok, I'm addicted and last season named the intern who got water "Aqua-Man"), and couldn't be happier that Chipotle has opened up a location in Toronto!

//Pat Bakker
Coordinator, Corporate Partnerships
Shoe size // 10.5
My autobiography would be called // If I had an Autobiography it would be called “Bakker’s Dozen: 13 Reasons I’m Better Than Luke!”
Highlights of 2008 TFC Season // The All-Star game was an amazing experience to be a part of from the beginning. Marv and Rohan’s first goals, the last game of the year, the goal keeper from Chivas getting dropped by the stretcher bearers and so many other highlights.
About Me // I’m trying to write a witty whimsical piece right now but utterly failing. Thus I leave you with this. “What’s the deal with Ovaltine? The lid is round, the can is round…they should call it roundtine!” Think about it…it’s true….and yes Kenny Banya would do this routine much better than I would…..but it’s gold!

My autobiography would be called // Joe Jesseau
Highlights of 2009 TFC Season (so far...) // Columbus Away
About Me // Soccer nut since my first game of “foot hockey” in grade school. Grew up on a steady diet of Graham Leggett and four hours of Soccer Saturday. Mark Hughes, Eric Cantona, Dale Mitchell, Dominic Mobilio…these guys were my first footballing heroes.

// Jeff Payne
Corporate Partnerships
Shoe size // 12
My autobiography would be called // "All Aboard the Payne Train"
Highlight of 2008 TFC Season // Our last home game of the season: 3-2 win over Chicago. The crowd was great, the goals were quality, and even though we didn't sneak into the playoffs, it was a good statement against one of the top teams in the MLS.
About Me // I'm a nut for football and a sports junkie in general. After some recent introspection, I've realized that if I had to list the top 5 moments in my life, they would all include sports (at least 3 would be football) in some way. Kids: don't let people tell you that being hopelessly addicted to sports won't get you anywhere in life. Oh, and stay in school... and don't do drugs.

My autobiography would be called // "The Man Behind the Accordion; from Sydenham to Stardom"
Highlights of 2008 TFC Season // Funniest: Zach Thornton being dropped while being carried off the field.
Unbelievable: Columbus road trip, best fans ever!
Embarrassing: Getting leveled by a supporter's flag while giving a tour to my parents.
About Me // I like:
1. Walking fast, insensitively fast actually.
2. The accordion. Come down to BMO Field for a rendition of 'Blue Spanish Eyes'
3. Foosball, bronze medalist in the BMO Field Championship of the World... no big deal.
4. Movie trivia. Name this quote: "Do you want my jacket? Take it, I'm cloaked in failure!" If you know the movie e-mail me, you may win a prize.

Shoe size // The French system for determining shoe size is the most common system worldwide, based on number of people. It is standard in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and most other continental European countries, as well as China. In this system, the shoe size is the length of the 'last', expressed in Paris points, for both genders and for adults and children alike. A Paris point is 2/3 of a centimetre and it has been agreed upon that the 'last' is the length of the foot plus two centimetres. I don't know my French size.
My autobiography would be called // "How to survive on pizza and beef patties: The Matt O'Brien story"
Highlights of 2008 TFC Season // The 2008 MLS All-Star game was just a fantastic, memorable event.
About Me // I'm still passionate about sports, probably to a fault. I've learned that PVR is the single greatest invention in the world, well I guess that wheel thing would be up there as well. I'm a radical thinker; currently I'm trying to change casual Friday to mandatory cowboy boot day. Overall, I think life is good.

Highlights of 2008 TFC Season // Columbus trip/Marvell scoring his first career goal/carrying off the first ever player, from MLS, on a stretcher in BMO field history
About Me // "It is a period of civil war. Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil galactic empire"... whoops! Sorry, wrong update. Ahh, my love affair with the Raptors (undefeated in 08/09 at the time this was written.) continues as strong as ever. Thanks entirely to CB4 progressing into a potential MVP candidate and the addition of Jermaine "We're going to step over guys if we knock 'em down" O'Neal. My favourite movie is still Good Will Hunting and my cubical is no longer between Jeff and Asif, in case you're wondering. We all moved it was emotional.

Highlights of 2008 TFC Season // Experienced the season all the way from Asia thanks to Luke and Toronto FC TV!
About Me // I like to have fun so I'm generally fond of fun things. Music occupies a large portion of my life but I can’t play a single note. I have lived, worked and travelled in South East Asia for the last two years. I have a deep passion for all sports; particularly soccer, hockey (GLG!) and board sports. I have played and followed soccer since I could walk so working for Toronto FC still feels like a dream - I am “overt”ly happy to be here!

My autobiography would be called // "The Meaning of Life"
Highlights of 2008 TFC Season // Every single moment
About Me // I'm honoured to have been brought to TFC for an office record transfer fee - an inbox, two pens, and a box of paperclips. My first experience with the sport was in the first grade, where I managed to net a goal within the first minute - for the other team. Ever since, I've tried my best to watch and learn. By working hard, taking things one day at a time, and giving my 110%, I aspire to take Administration and Reporting to new heights.

My autobiography would be called // I Killed Two Stones With One Bird
Highlights of 2009 TFC Season (so far) // Standing at midfield listening to our fans sing the National Anthem at the home opener, celebrating every goal with players and fans alike and unknowingly standing next to one of the confetti launchers right after a goal...lesson learned.
About Me // Pround father of Mia Grace, future FIFA Women's World Player of the Year. Marta who? I love soccer and driving, which is why I put myself through the commute between Stoney Creek and Toronto everyday. I hate driving. Long Live: TFC, A Selecção das Quinas, CR7, Sporting CP, Man U and Vasco Da Gama (HDSL).

About Me // Fred Hooper, look at me now! A recent graduate of the Sports Admin program at Laurentian, I was lucky enough to intern with TFC last summer and somehow managed to sneak back into the office. Along with Roberta Bondar, Marty Turco, and Downtown Dennis, I call Sault Ste. Marie home. Some say I'm loud, arrogant, and short tempered. I say I'm Italian, deal with it. Couldn't be happier Cannavaro's back with Juve, can't wait to see him lift the Scudetto AND World Cup in 2010. Shout-out to the boys in 405...GALLO!
